This exciting and educational activity is a great opportunity to teach your kids about conservation and the importance of protecting sea turtles. Led by our experienced management and Kids Club team, along with a local foundation that protects this species, this activity takes place at our beach and lasts for approximately 30 minutes. Please note that the activity may not be pre-arranged as we depend on the nesting entity to provide the sea turtle eggs to be released. We will only know the same day of the eggs hatching and will invite all children and parents to join through our concierge and kids club. Like plants, people’s outward appearances often look very different. But our inner similarities are the unseen roots that connect ecosystems, both natural and social. In Spencer Mar Guilburt’s piece, the palm leaves represent people transcending labels for a peaceful coexistence. Like the leaves of plants, we grow under the same sun, breathe the same air and grow from the same soil. The black lines can be seen as our roots, intertwined and deeply seeded. The blue rectangle represents the ocean and water, our great life bringers, while the yellow circle depicts the sun shining over us regardless of shape, color, or creed. Nature has little concern for our superficially-derived labels.
Spencer Mar Guilburt (known as MAR) captured the public’s attention in 2010 with his prismacolor street art. His gallery, known for his expressive, inspiring abstract work, now has a celebrity following. The charge for your pet’s stay is a one-time $150 USD charge. If your pet is a certified service animal, please provide the proper documentation to waive fee.
Please be aware that we do not allow more than one pet per guest room.
The hotel is prepared to accommodate your pet in your guestroom. We will accept pets that are no larger than 30 pounds, are fully house trained, and are appropriately restrained by you. Your pet should be in compliance with the local legislation requirements.
We regret that pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets (indoors and outdoors), the Fitness Center, THE SPA, and the pool areas of the hotel. This exclusion does not apply to service animals.
Your pet must be on a leash when it is on Hotel property unless it is inside your guestroom.
Please do not leave your pet unattended. If you require a pet sitter or pet supplies, please contact the Concierge or Front Desk.
You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet on hotel property and in the neighborhood. The Front Desk is able to supply you with “clean-ups” bags and to assist you with walking your pet.
Any disturbances, such as barking, must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Please contact Guest Services during your stay to arrange a convenient time for servicing your room. No attempt will be made to enter your guestroom if there is a pet in the room unless the owner is present.
