Ibiza

Ibiza is renowned all over the world, yet it is also the great unknown

Many people are surprised to learn that in Ibiza it is possible to go swimming in crystal- clear waters at remote beaches, stay at wonderful hotels surrounded by fruit trees or walk for hours around wild and lonely spots.

Thanks to its cultural and natural heritage, Ibiza Town was declared a World Heritage site by Unesco in 1999.

Today, Ibiza Town is surrounded by walls and jam-packed with narrow streets and alleys and monuments like the Castle or the Cathedral. A stroll around the Dalt Vila enables you to enjoy the impressive beauty of “la Muralla”, the city ramparts, and the spectacular views of the city and the sea. In the historic quarter, which today is like an open-air museum, you can find traces of all the civilizations that have passed through Ibiza, from the Phoenicians to the Carthaginians, taking in the Romans and Muslims.

But it is interesting not just to get to know the town centre, but also to ride around the island and get to know its different villages -such as Sant Jordi de Ses Salines or Santa Eulalia-, tourist centres, beautiful coves and the liveliest spots. Ibiza Island has so much to offer that you will be able to enjoy it any time of the year.
